Our Beautiful Planet

This is a satellite image of the Earth that i found on a NASA website. Part of the description for this image goes..." This spectacular “blue marble” image is the most detailed true-color image of the entire Earth to date." The earth is a beautiful place. It is meant to be protected and respected. But have we been true to our heart in protecting or even respecting the earth(read as Mother Nature...). Surely not. I keep saying that we have angered Mother Nature so much that she is rising to the occassion and showing her fury in different ways. The Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, the floods in India... the list is endless...these series of natural calamities in a given period of time cannot be just co-incidences. I believe there is something divine watching over us and that divinity is VERY ANGRY....what do we do to repair the damage? or is the damage too far gone to repair????What do you think?

My Phone

This is my cell phone. My uncle gifted it to me when my son was born. I just love this phone..its got everything i want on a phone..mostly for me it works like a digital camera. i take almost all my pictures on my phone. Sagar loves it too and wants to play with it... i show him his own pictures in it hoping that wen he sees his pictures on my fone and when he sees himself in a mirror he will recognize he is looking at himself faster. he is a sharp kid and learns things quickly.....this phone is very close to my heart.

Sagar

This is my son Sagar when i just started introducing solid foods to him...i call this photo "Cerelac Papa"....he insists on having a cup and spoon for himself so that he can play with it while eating and pretend that he is feeding himself...i guess he has always been an independant child...he wants his water bottle in his own hand and wants to feed himself water...I LOVE HIMMM.......

Water logging in Chennai

Chennai's water log is the worst thing i have ever seen...the continual rains and power cuts resulting from it is believed to be an after effect of the tsunami..check out these photographs...this is how the Marina Beach looked during the tsunami.
This is how our roads look because of the floods. I was lucky to find these pictures online...Our Chennai roads are not built for the rains...I heard somewhere that this is the worst rains everyone has seen in 60 years or something..although i feel it might be an exaggeration, i can totally empathize with their feelings. It drizzles continously and is deadly cold out here...Although school children seem to enjoy it since it means extra holidays due to the rains, for us adults, it is a hazzle to our daily routines...
The roads are full of pots and holes which fill up with rain water and all other kinds of water during such times. The worst i have seen is the seweges overflowing all its contents on to the roads. YUCK!!!! But it is predictable since the rain water harvesting plans were never carried out on the roads...The rain water is directed into the sewers and our seweges are not built for such an overload and hence overflow onto the roads!!!! who will rectify these? We need help PPL!!!!!

Daniel Radcliffe

Well, I felt Radcliffe looked way cuter in the first Harry Potter movie...now i guess he is in this awkward stage between teenage and adulthood and well..it shows on his features...But I guess he looks better than Rupert Grint(Ron Weasley)...he just looks ugly man!!!

Harry Potter

When am I ever gonna see the new Harry Potter Movie???????I have been waiting for an eternity to see it and since i cant go out to see it i was hoping atleast to get a DVD to watch...the best part is even my son loves Harry Potter...probably because of the fast graphics and the wierd noises..but whatever...he loves them like me....I WANNA WATCH ITTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!
